Charlotte Francis Watson

Charlotte Francis Watson was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Arsenal Technical High School. She was the cook for St. Vincent Hospital for over 15 years. Charlotte Francis Watson accepted Christ at a young age. She was a proud member of Westside Baptist Church. Charlotte Francis Watson loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing the game Tripoley. She was dedicated to watching and cheering for her favorite team THE COLTS!! She would often get frustrated with them but her loyalty remain unmatched. Charlotte Francis Watson was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was always there to give help and guidance to any and every one she encountered. She never met a stranger and those who knew her she made them family. Charlotte Francis Watson was preceded in death by her parents; Floyd Eddie Tewell Sr. and Margaret Broadus Overton, sister; Sharon Demery and Vivian Johnson, brother; Charles Tewell. Charlotte Francis Watson departed this life on September 2nd, 2023. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted and loving husband; Jarvis Watson, 2 daughters; Kim Croom and Angela Twyman, 2 sons; William Tibbs and Derrick Tibbs, 3 stepchildren; Derek Watson, Jarvis Watson Jr. and Maree Williams, 2 sisters; Valencia Tibbs (Kevin) and Florence McClure (Wilbur), 2 brothers; Floyd Eddie Tewell Jr. and William Tewell, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, church family and other relatives and friends. A visitation for Charlotte will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
