AUX SOINS DE
Family Funeral Care-Rockville West
On August 12, 2021, in the company of her family, Cathy Anne (Lee) Blanchard passed on peacefully.
Cathy was born on May 17, 1957 in Danville, IL to Robert and Valaree Jeanne (Bernard) Lee. Cathy attended Tri-Central High School and Cuyamaca College.
In her early twenties, she moved to San Diego, CA where she and her Husband raised their children. They remained in San Diego until retiring and returning to Indiana in 2019. Cathy was a lover of animals and a friend to children. She enjoyed gardening, creating stained glass artwork, and hosting friends and family in her home. She was a phenomenal cook, a fan of music and the epitome of a spitfire. She lived her life on her own terms and never settled for the path of least resistance. Those who knew her best referred to her as “The Queen of Everything.” She was truly one of a kind.
Cathy is survived by her beloved husband, Brian Blanchard, her children, Brandy (Michael) Hodson and Aaron (Darla) Blanchard, granddaughters, Gabrielle Clem, Valaree St. Clair, Molly (Criofan) Liggin Packwood, Adriana & Addison Blanchard, grandsons, Challen & Brayden Hodson and Tyson & Dylan Jupin, siblings, Jim(Jan) Lee, Mark Lee and Laury Cone and Mother in Law, Beverly Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Vicki Ritter.
In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, cremation will be followed by a private Celebration of Life. Memorials may be made in Cathy’s honor to Guardian Angel Hospice Foundation or the Kokomo Humane Society.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.familyfuneralcareindy.com for the Blanchard family.
