Brad Anthony Nacio, 48, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2024. Brad was born on February 14, 1976 to Alice and Antione Nacio in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was born and raised in Louisiana, where he spent summers catching crawfish in the creek. Brad spent time working as the mascot for the local hockey team. In 2001 Brad married the love of his life. In 2002 he moved with his family to Indiana where he resided. Brad worked as a truck driver and was a dedicated and loyal employee, he worked for his employer United Natural Foods for 18 great years.
Brad was a friend to all, he had never met a stranger. He had an infectious laugh and a smile that brightened every room. Brad was a loving Husband, father, and papaw. He loved spending time with family and was known for bringing people together for a good time, most notably by preparing his world famous crawfish boils, bringing his love for Louisiana to all that attended.
Brad is survived by his wife Dawn, his children: Zachary (Jenna) Mitchem, Kourtney (Nick) Bell, Abbigail Nacio, and Alexandria Nacio. His grandchildren: Kage, Paytyn, and Aria Mitchem and Ella, Noah, and Theo Bell, and his two fur babies, Bella and Noelle.
He was preceded in death by his mom, dad, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held at Little & Sons E. Stop 11 Rd on August 10th at 10:00am until 1:00pm when the service will begin.
