Arthur Lee Scaggs, Jr.

Arthur Lee Scaggs, Jr. 74, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 14, 2020 at home. Arthur was born on September 19, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN the son of A.L. Hall and Doris Hall. He retired from the Penn Central / Conrail Railroad in 1999 after 31 years of employment. Arthur also enjoyed NASCAR, owned Scaggs Racing and was President of Midwest Motorcycle Club for two years. He is survived by his son; Douglas Scaggs, mother; Doris Hall, sisters; Drucilla (Gene) Fromm, Sheila (Robbie) Nickels, long time companion; Patti Neuhaus, grandchildren; Connor, Elsie, Faith Marie and Kate Scaggs, 4 nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his father; A.L. Hall. A memorial gathering for Arthur will be Saturday, September 19, family from 12:00-1:00, visitation for family and friends 1:00 to 4:00 and memorial service at 4:00 at Family Funeral Care. Arthur, in his last act of compassion, gave to the Indiana Donor Network.
