Larry E. Broom

Larry E. Broom, 75, of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his residence. Larry was a Truck Driver most of his adult life, driving for many different companies throughout the area. Most recently he drove for Parrish Brothers Trucking in Fort Wayne, retiring in 2008. Larry was a US Army Veteran, serving in the 60’s and 70’s. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Huntington #823. Larry also loved to work on cars. Larry was born on March 26, 1943 in Wells County, a son of Cecil and Ruth (Cocklin) Broom. Survivors include three sisters: Elaine Broom of Huntington, Patricia Manning of Warren, Lois Jean Leist of Fort Wayne and his best friend and neighbor Shane Larkey of Huntington. Larry was preceded in death by two sisters: Joann Brown and Ladonna First and a brother: David Broom. There will be no public Visitation or Services.
