Joyce Jean Lutes Shropshire

Joyce Jean Shropshire (nee Lutes), age 89, of Homewood, IL formerly of Highland, IN passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015. She is survived by her two sons: Ron (Bev) Shropshire of Homewood, IL and Brad (Chris) Shropshire of Griffith, IN; four grandchildren: Brandon (Meghann) Shropshire, Cortney (Mike) Bishop, Ryan (Amy) Shropshire and MaryKay Shropshire; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Jackie Amburn of Muncie, IN. Mrs. Shropshire was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon in 1985; and sister, Norma Hunter. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. Paul Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
