Henry J. Miller

Henry J. Miller, 84, of Harlan, died on March 8, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born on July 12, 1931, in Arthur, Illinois, he was a son of the late, Jacob and Polly Miller. Henry has spent the last 40 years working in the family business, Springfield Restoration and Remodeling Inc, owned now by his two grandsons Kris and Bret Miller. He is survived by his children, Dan (Diane) Miller, of Harlan, Darrell (Ruth) Miller, of Saskatoon, Canada, David Miller, at home, Dinah (Steve) Tatman and Denise (John) Hughes, both of Fort Wayne and Doris (Dale) Cobbs, of Harlan; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eli (Mary Sue) Miller and Orie Miller, both of Goshen, Chris (Lola) Miller, of Denver Colorado, Emery (Mary Alice) Miller, of London, Ohio, Paul (Sherry) Miller, of Orrville, Ohio; sisters, Mary (Lisa Dimondstein) Miller, of Hyde Park, Vermont, Barbara (Floyd) Hershberger, of Tuscon, Arizona, and Alma Bontrager, of Goshen . He was also preceded in death by his wife Mildred (Delagrange) Miller; and brothers, Daniel and John Miller. Funeral service will be 10am Saturday March 12, at the Ekklesia, 12616 Spencerville Road, Harlan, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 7pm Friday March 11, at the church. Memorial donations may be given to the Christian Community Center of Harlan.
