Lottie Marie Hayden

Lottie Marie Hayden, age 86, passed from this life on July 5, 2012 at the Chesapeake Nursing Facility in Newport News, VA where she currently resided. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deward B. Hayden; her son, Harold R. Hayden; one sister, Maxie Cannon; two brothers, Herman Allison and Melvin Allison. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Peggy Blevins (Fred); Janet Allen (Charlie); one son, Jerry Hayden (Kathy); five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Anthony Allison (Carla); two sisters, Evelyn Hayden and Corinna Woodward (Kyle); and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was a devoted wife and mother. She will be remembered for her strong will, independent nature and love for the country life. A graveside service will be conducted at Mount Rose Cemetery Memorial Chapel, Glade Spring, VA on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glade Spring Rescue Squad, Glade Spring, VA.
