Hope McQuatters Baker

Hope McQuatters Baker, 83, passed away on September 18, 2021. She was raised in Hampton and was a graduate of Hampton High School. Hope was a lover of desserts her favorite being the Neapolitan pie at the Virginian Restaurant. She always remembered to send everyone a birthday card and it would always somehow arrive on their actual birthday. Hope was known for being very regimented and scheduled. She loved being a mother. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years William C. Baker; daughter, Catherine Baker Russell; son, William D. Baker (Billy); sister, Margaret Faith Lamb; granddaughter Chelsea Rae Russell; grandson, Campbell Alexander Russell. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 22, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home 2551 N. Armistead Ave Hampton, VA 23666.
