Glenn Goodhart

Glenn Howard Goodhart, 69, of Hampton VA., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2023. He had a heroic fight but lost his battle to cancer. Glenn was a Master Ship Builder and Pipefitter at the Newport News Shipyard for 43 years. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and his animals. He also loved to work on his antique cars and ride his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his mother Ella Goodhart and father Merle Goodhart. Glenn is survived by his loving wife Patricia Goodhart; daughter Amanda McClelland (Chase Sr.) of Windsor, VA grandsons; Cody and Chase Jr, daughter Angela Goodhart of Hampton, VA., grandchildren Connor and Madisyn Holmes. Sisters: Patricia Smith, Merrill Hollinger, Teresa Harrison, Vera Fulford, Linda Doup, and Becky Gervais. “Your valiant fight with cancer is over now, so rest; you earned your peace.”
