Danny M. Taylor, age 65, of Hampton, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Danny was born August 25, 1956 in Newport News, Virginia.
Danny was known as a generous giver, supporting many Christian organizations. He enjoyed helping friends with car repairs and mechanical tips, and is well known for handing out $2 bills. Danny retired from NASA Langley Research Center and in September 2017 received his Forty Year Service Award in recognition of faithful service to NASA and the Government of the United States. He was a long-standing member of World Outreach Worship Center of Newport News and enjoyed many years worshipping in the choir. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Marvin G. Taylor, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Taylor Kelly of Hampton, VA; brother, Marvin G. Taylor, Jr. (Pam) of Gloucester, VA; sister, Emily Taylor Sexton (Todd) of California; nieces, Kristan Barclay (Charlie) and Hannah Sexton; nephews, Trey Taylor (Emily), and Jake Sexton; great-nieces, Kenley Taylor and Laney Taylor; and great nephews, Carter Williams and Chase Barclay.
A graveside service for Danny will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
