Douglas Herbert Koors Sr.

Douglas Herbert Koors, Sr., 48 of Milroy, passed away on November 16, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1976 in Greensburg, Indiana the son of Herbert L. and Marcia Shafer Koors. Doug was a 1994 graduate of Rushville High School. He married Beth Vogele on September 2, 2017. Doug worked for OSL. He enjoyed woodworking, auto bodywork, model cars, spending time with his tribe, and was a firearms enthusiast. Survivors include: wife, Beth Koors; children, DJ Koors, Madison Troville and Kayla Troville; grandchildren, Elizabeth “Ellie”, Evelynn and Emilia “Millie”; mother, Marcia Koors; brother, Paul (Tammy Bennett) Koors; sister, Tammy (Eric) Harnishfeger; nieces and nephews, Layne Harnishfeger, Ashley McConnell, Shelbi Heger and Kirk Black. His father, Herb Koors, preceded him in death. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 3:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm. The memorial will be broadcast live on the Gilliland-Howe Facebook Page. A private burial will be at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
