Shirley Sue Inman

Shirley Sue Inman, 82, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Born December 26, 1939 in Greencastle, the daughter of John and Opal (Grimes) Patterson and was a graduate of Greencastle High School. Sue worked several years at J.C. Penney’s and the Putnam County Assessor’s Office. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Inman and ten siblings. Sue is survived by her children Terri Dickey, Leigh Anne (Kris) Carrington, and John Bradley (Missy) Inman; a brother Donald Patterson; sister Doris McMains; nine grandchildren Michael Johnson, Heather Johnson, Jennifer Wells, Keaton Dickey, John Bradley Inman, Kristin Carrington, Justin Gorham, Samuel Gorham and Danielle Gorham; and three great great grandchildren Theodore Johnson, Olivia Johnson, and Karsyn Inman. Private graveside services will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
