Lola Mae Hutson, 91, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.
Born August 6, 1931 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Guy and Lola (Gardner) Tilley.
Lola was a dedicated loving wife to her husband, Victor for over 45 years. She had later worked in food services at Greencastle School systems and was a volunteer at Rescued Treasures for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Leon Hutson; brothers, Leroy and Paul Tilley; and sisters, Frances Tilley, Mildred Rood, Helen Roberts, Betty Russell, and Wanda Gidcumb.
Lola is survived by her children, Larry (Patricia) Hutson and Janet (Bob) Irwin; sister, Sharon Byrd; sister-in-law, June Leer; grandchildren, Stacy (Tracie) Irwin, Kimberly (Nolan) Costin, Jeremy (Tiffany) Hutson, and Natasha (Mike) Miller; great grandchildren, Addison, Nick, Alex, Sebastian, Lane, Jacob and Anna and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cloverdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Rescued Treasures 1021 Indianapolis Rd C Greencastle, IN. 46135.
