Thomas Lee Romine

THOMAS LEE ROMINE, 64, departed this life and journeyed to his Heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, with family by his side. Born Sept. 26, 1947, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Sylvia and Jess Romine. He was an accomplished singer and songwriter, and traveled the country with a band. "He will be remembered for his humor and joking nature. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends." He is survived by a daughter, Shannon (Rob) Friedman of Bloomington; granddaughter, Samantha of Bloomington; niece, Tammy of Fort Wayne; and longtime special friend, Deborah Scott. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Romine. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Third Street Church of God, 427 3rd St., with visitation one hour prior.
