Rozella Mae Gerber, 78, passed away November 11, 2024, at Georgetown Place in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born May 9, 1946 in Edgerton Ohio, the daughter of the late, Walter and Goldie Goebel.
She graduated from Edgerton High School in 1963. Rozella then went to secretarial school and worked in that field until she met and married Dale Gerber in 1979. They enjoyed traveling and spending time together. She loved to play cards, sew, and spend time with her grandkids. She enjoyed crime dramas and mysteries, both in film and books. She loved cats, especially her orange tabby named Sugar. She and Dale were long-time members of the Living Church of God.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
Rozella is survived by her daughter, Annette (Joseph) Sauter, stepson James (Lisa) Gerber, both of Fort Wayne, IN; granddaughters, Alyssa (Mark) Loudermilk of Terra Haute, IN; Alexia and Kathryn Sauter, both of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Gerber, May 20, 2017, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Maxine Goebel, sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Max Ish, Velma and James Bigger and Marilyn R. Goebel Juarez and Antancio “Nacho”.
Private Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
