Rico Tata

Rico Alexis Tata, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born on August 21, 1951 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Priscilla (Mettler) Tata. Rico joined the United States Navy on March 4, 1971, and served for four years. Mr. Tata received numerous certifications while traveling around the world working as a Chef in many different kitchens. He really enjoyed making people laugh, leaving his wry wisdom and lasting memories with countless friends and family. Rico is survived by his fiancé, Jesse Daniel Miller; brothers, Rocco, Michael, Mario, and Ambrose; and sister, Macey. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
