Richard A. Miller

Richard A. Miller, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was born July 28, 1928 in Fort Wayne, to the late Burl and Margurete (Geoglein) Miller. Richard was a 1946 graduate of Central High School and served our country over sea in the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. He worked as a letter carrier for over 33 years and maintained the ability to give directions to anywhere in the city. Richard was a talented athlete in his youth and continued to enjoy golf well into his 80's, collecting numerous trophies from numerous tournaments. He is survived by his daughters, Paula (Brian Borholt) Miller, Marcia Miller, and Diane Miller. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death, after being a devoted husband for 47 years, by his loving wife, Madonna (Bickel) Miller in 2001; and by his sisters, Joanne and Bonnie. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior.
