Richard M. “Dick” Krouse, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was born on February 10, 1947 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Clyde and Margaret Krouse. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked 45 years as a Millwright at DANA before retiring in 2013. He was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. He enjoyed playing Euchre and spending some time with friends at the VFW. He will be remembered as a man that enjoyed the outside; spending time at the lake, riding snowmobiles, and camping. He especially loved being with his family; helping them, being a part of their lives and all their activities. Surviving family include his wife, Judith K. Krouse; children, April (Dr. Ronald A.) Cohen, Emily (Robert) Forrester, and Nora (Douglas) Schlaudroff; grandchildren, Maxwell Cohen, Emma (Joshua) Adams, Jackson Sickafoose, and Charles and Charlotte Schlaudroff; sisters, Marg (Ray) Meinerding, Kathleen (Kenny) Magsami, Carol Alfed, Theresa (Stan) Wyess, Diane (Sam) Beck; brothers, John, Steve (Margaret), Joseph (Karen), and William (Rosemary) Krouse; and sister-in-law, Linda Krouse. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his brothers, James, Robert, and Donald Krouse. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Arcola Volunteer Fire Department.
