Phyllis J. Mort

Phyllis J Mort, age 80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne. She was born December 26, 1943 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania to the late Roy E. and Odessa C. (née Fulton) Solomon. Phyllis spent twenty years as a Field Inspector with Information Providers, Inc. prior to her retirement in 2010. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, enjoyed time at the lake but cherished time spent with friends and family the most. Surviving are her beloved children, Gregory L. (Beth) Riffe of Palmetto, Fla., Jeffrey L. (Kris) Riffe of Troy, Mich., Lynn D. (Mark) Gerke of Menomonee Falls, Wis., Tracy D. Riffe Hofmann of Fort Collins, Colo. and Greg (Sandy) Mort of Venice, Fla.; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece and great nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Mort; and sister, Royanne Mac. Celebration of Life is 11 am, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Rd, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior; the Rev. Tim Graham officiating.
