Phillip D. Stackhouse

Phillip D. Stackhouse, 71, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital. Phil was born on June 30, 1947, in Kendallville, Indiana, to the late Albert and Josephine (Fifer) Stackhouse. He was a graduate of North Side High School. Phil retired from GE/BAE after 49 years of service. He was a lifelong union member and longtime Trustee. He was a hot rod car enthusiast and huge IU basketball fan. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include his children; Phillip (Renee) Stackhouse of San Diego, CA, and Tami (Todd) Schnatzmeyer of Bloomington, IN, spouse, Glenda Stackhouse of Fort Wayne, step-children; Stevie (McKinzie) McDowell, Monica McDowell, and Amanda McDowell all of Fort Wayne, 9 grandchildren; sister, Diane (Stan) Wells. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 10:00 am at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park. Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna, IN.
