Phillip L. Roth

Phillip L. Roth, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Fort Wayne. He was born on November 20, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Graduate of Northside High School class of 1961. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Phil worked at Nickel Plate Railroad for several years prior to becoming a teacher. He was an avid train collector, enjoyed the bell phones and organ music, especially the pipe organ. He is survived by his brother, Stan (Gretchen) Roth; and some cousins, nieces, and nephews. Phil was preceded in passing by his wife, Georgette Roth; son, Eric Roth; and his parents. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral home 6424 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. Contributions in Phillip's memory may be made to the Embassy Theater Foundation or Fort Wayne Railroad Historic Society.
