Norma Lohman, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 12, 2018. Born on February 18, 1923, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late, Carl W and Louise M (Scheips) Dannenfelser. She was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, and was a member of the Altar Guild, Ladies Aid and Needlework Guild, at church. She loved playing piano, sewing, knitting, needlework, playing bridge, and other card games, gardening, bicycling, travel, bowling, crafts, crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, IU Basketball, sailing on Lake Wawasee, and was a part of a dinner club for over 40 years.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Kelly) Lohman of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Darcey Lohman of Forest Park, Ill.; grandson, Patrick Lohman of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Katalina, William, Kooper, and Kourtney. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard W. Lohman Jr, in 2008; daughter, Marcia Ann Lohman, in 1961; and brother, Robert Dannenfelser.
Funeral service will be 11 am, Friday, July 20, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 8pm, Thursday, July 19, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, or Concordia Lutheran High School.
