Naum L. Bircheff

Naum L. Bircheff, 92, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Brookdale Fort Wayne Assisted Living Center. He was born May 13, 1923 in Fort Wayne to the late Marco and Dota (Nickoff) Bircheff. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII on P. T. 109 in the Pacific, Italy and the Mediterranean. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and worked in automotive sales as owner and operator of Quality Motors. Surviving are his daughter, Joyce (Ned) Byrer of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Ayres of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Janet Bircheff of Fort Wayne. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Lois Kathleen (McLennan) Bircheff in 2006; son, Bart Bircheff in 2006; and brothers, Michael and Louis Bircheff. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with visitation from 11:00 AM until service. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Faith United Methodist Church.
