Leon A. Michaels

LEON A. MICHAELS, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Dupont Hospital. He served in the Korean War - Air Force, and retired from G.T.E. as a Communications Manager in 1987. Surviving are his daughters, Linda Michaels of Tulsa, Okla., Peggy (Tom) Taggart of Northern Ireland, Michele (Andrew) Topp of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Cleveland of Bella Vista, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia who died in 2010; parents; two sisters; and two brothers. No services. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. Private burial at Marion National Cemetery. Memorials to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
