Larry Gene Blake

Larry Gene Blake, age 78, of Roanoke, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Larry was born February 7, 1944 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Treva Blake. Although, Larry enjoyed fishing, street-racing cars, and watching "professional wrassling," his greatest times were spent with his loving family. Larry is survived by two daughters, Sherrie (Rick) Lehman, of Roanoke, and Anita Jacobs of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Derek (Stephanie) Fillers of New Haven, Kyle (Nausheen) Fillers of Florida, Jake (Haley) Fillers of New Haven, Kaylynn Lehman of Fort Wayne, Cory Jones of Fort Wayne, Austin Hummer of Portland, Connor Jacobs and Billy Jacobs, both of Fort Wayne. Larry was also blessed with three great-grandchildren. Visitation hours for Larry Gene Blake will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage-Mungovan Funeral & Cremation Services, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials can be made in honor of Larry, to Riley's Children's Hospital Foundation, 30 South Meridian Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
