JIMMY LEE CLARK, 66, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at his residence. He was born on July 23, 1945, in Rome, Ga. He retired as the men's tennis coach at University of Saint Francis. He also had been the head boy's tennis coach at Homestead High School for 31 years from 1979 to 2009, winning various championships. He taught at Woodside and Summit Middle Schools. He was inducted into the Fort Wayne Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011. He was a graduate of Ball State University. Surviving are his wife, Susan Kay; daughter, Cambi (Chad) Clark Ruston of Fort Wayne; son, Gene (Meg) Boerger of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Michael, Stellan, and Hensley. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Farley; and mother-in-law, Lou Ann Elder. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Harvest Fellowship Church, 11225 Grabill Road, Leo. Pastor Paul Mowery officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to S.A.C.S.
