Gerald “Gerry” Timothy Houck, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at his home with family by his side. Born March 6, 1957 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Gene and Eileen (Halstein) Houck. Gerry graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School, class of 1975. He was a contractor for over 40 years and was also a painter for several years. Gerry always attended his children’s softball games and was their biggest fan. A sports fanatic, his favorite teams were the Cubs and the Bears. Gerry had a magnetic personality and made many friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen (Kramer) Houck; daughters, Kristen (Luke) Randolph, Rachel Houck, and Erin Houck; eight grandchildren, Brenna, Keira, Levi, Braylon, Kyle, Kaden, Henley, and Peyton; sisters, Charlene (Tom) Aurich, Jean (Jim) Sircey, and Darlene (Vince) Hart; brother, Ralph Houck; uncle, Dewey Houck; and a host of friends. He was also preceded in death by his son, Ethan Timothy Houck. A Celebration of Life is from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Fort Wayne Turners, 3636 Parnell Avenue, Fort Wayne.
