Eric Russell Gaff

Eric Russell Gaff, 28, unexpectedly passed away December 20, 2022 in Coldwater, MI. He was born January 18, 1994 in Fort Wayne IN. He graduated from Homestead High School in 2012 and played Lacrosse. He was an avid and accomplished water skier, loved music and enjoyed spending time with his many friends. He worked at Midwest Automotive Trucking in Fremont, IN. Eric is survived by his mother, Kristi (Marc) Baker of Leo, IN; father Wyndell (Shelly) Gaff of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Maizie Jane Gaff, step-daughter, Averie Rose and their mother, Heather Johnson, grandparents Terry and Jane Hamlin of Sarasota, FL; Patsy C. Gaff of Albion, IN; half-sister, Alexandra G. (Adam) Saylor of Fort Wayne, IN. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl L. Gaff. Eric overdosed on heroin. His loved ones are devastated. The people who would have done anything they could to help him, never had the chance to say goodbye. We will never see him again, hug him again or talk to him ever again.
