Nécrologie de David Daniel Snyder
Dave Snyder, 60, was born and raised in Fort Wayne. He died on February 10th of natural causes. Dave traveled the world during his 20 years of service with the US Navy and had countless wild tales to share. He went on to work with BP, thoroughly enjoying his time with his coworkers. After his second retirement, Dave established a consulting practice. He was an avid reader, a brilliant multitasker and a man of countless skill sets. Dave loved history, sci-fi, heroes and Harleys. He laughed and loved with equal generosity. In the years prior to his passing he learned that he enjoyed swim up bars overlooking the ocean and new adventures while reuniting with old friends. Mostly, Dave glowed in the simple things; his family, his friends, “wind therapy” on the Big Red Trike and quiet evenings with his wife, Sailor the Puppy, and, Bleu the Little Knothead nearby. He was passionately loyal to The Washington Football Team and The Chicago Cubs. After living in several locations across the country, Dave returned home to Fort Wayne in Oct 2019 where he took on the role of Benevolent Human for an ever expanding flock of fairly demanding geese and Chief Swearing Officer in his one man Home Project Department. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and The Pine Valley Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Karen, his children: Debbie (John) Stull, Michell (Marshal) Jordan, Robyn Snyder, Derek (Lauren) Snyder, his stepson, Chase Palmer, his brother Don (Ceci) Snyder, and his grand children; Freedom, Chance, Anna, Ilse, Gideon, Merrick and Liam.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janis. His presence, his love, his laughter remains large in the lives of many.
