Darlene E Baron

Darlene (Gliedt) Baron 76, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born September 10, 1945 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Elsa (Osterloh) Gliedt. Darlene graduated from New Haven High School. She was a secretary at General Electric, International Harvester (Navastar) and the Red Cross. She met her husband Cary at International Harvester and was married for 51 years. Darlene loved going to the Gulf of Mexico at Fort Meyers Beach and traveling with Land Cruise on bus trips. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed celebrating birthday and holidays with the family. Surviving are her husband Cary Baron, sons Todd A. and Timothy S. Baron, daughter in law Mary Baron and four granddaughters. Elizabeth, Noelle, Abigail and Talitha Baron, sister Nadine (Fred) Drayer, nieces Lori (John) Barkley, Lisa (Gene) Rosswurm. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday February 1, 2022 at St. Peters Lutheran Church 7710 E. State Blvd. Fort Wayne IN, with visitation from 9-11 am at the church. Burial in St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church Faithfully Forward Building Fund. Arrangements by D.O.
