Dannie L. Raber

Dannie L. Raber, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 surround by his family. Dan was born September 9, 1948 to the late Roy & Vivian (D) Raber. He was preceded in death by the great love of his life, Victoria L (S) Raber. Dan was known for being a classic car enthusiast and spent numerous enjoyable hours working on, and traveling to car shows with his nephew Glen Raber. Family was everything to Dan and he loved being with his four grandchildren, be it teaching them to fish, playing the “sock game” or playing Zelda. Dan enjoyed staying busy around the house and teaching his daughters to be independent. Dan was a veteran of the United States Army and served honorably in Vietnam. He is survived by his two daughters, Jaimi (Robert) Smith of Grabill and Holli Quinn of Fort Wayne, four grandchildren, Ethan and Eli Smith and Morgan & Mason Warford. He was preceded in death by seven siblings. Funeral services for Dan will be 1:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
