Carol Jean Hoover

Carol J Hoover, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. Born on September 1, 1933, in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Chester E and Georgianna (Howland) Fisher. She was a member of North Park Community Church, and retired in 1989 after more than 18 years of service at General Electric / Lockheed Martin, as an Office Manager. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Byron E Hoover; children, Cynthia (Harry) Rybolt, Brenda Lutz, and Robert (Linda) Davis; grandchildren, Andrew, Alison, Carol, and Tessa, and great-grandchildren, Myles, Jack, and Jude. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James O Davis Jr; and siblings, Mary Lou Fisher, Loretta Berg, John Fisher, and Marie Fisher. Funeral service will be 11:00am, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at North Park Community Church, 7160 Flutter Rd, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian. Memorial donations may be given to North Park Community Church or Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
