Sandra Elaine Jones

Sandra born in Baltimore MD and resided in Falls Church, VA passed away peacefully at INOVA Women's Hospital on January 11, 2024. She was the loving wife of Stephen J. Jones, they were married at St. Philip RC Church Falls Church VA on July 4, 1979. She was the mother of Samantha C. Cath of Vienna VA and Angela L Hull of Summerville SC. Grandmother to John Lyle Walker of Virginia Beach VA and great grandmother to Wyatt Lee Walker. Sandra worked in Government Contracting for various Defense Contractors until her retirement. She was known to her friends and family as Sandy or Grammy. She made everyone who crossed her path feel loved and valued; she never met a stranger. She was an avid dog lover always finding a way to keep a dog in the house even when her husband Steve wasn't totally on board. She rescued two dachshunds, Winston and Frank, and was always feeding the birds and other creatures that came into her yard. Neighbors would after see Steve and Sandra walking about the neighborhood with Winston or Frank. She will be missed by all.
