Jeannine Louise Fargis

Jeannine L. Fargis of Annandale, Va. passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital after a short illness. Jeannine was born in Fairfax and grew up in Vienna, Va. She graduated from Madison High School and got her Nursing degree from Fairfax County. She worked as a nurse for many years at INOVA Fairfax and other local hospitals, as well as private medical practices In 2010 she met the love of her life and future husband , David Hedlesky of Woodbine, Md. She and Dave lived on a farm in Woodbine where she could really pursue two of her great passions in life, animals and gardening. She had a large vegetable garden, as well as cats, dogs, goats and other animals. Unfortunately Dave passed away in 2018. Jeannine is survived by her six siblings: Joseph Fargis of West Palm Beach, Fla., Peter Fargis of Fairfax, Va., Nina McPhaul of Chapel Hill, NC., Alix Kuhn of Falls Church, Va., Leslie Fargis of Fairfax, Va., and Philip Fargis of Chapel Hill, NC., as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
