Rosalin J. Hoffman

Rosalin J. Hoffman, 82, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born July 16, 1930, in Evansville. Rosie was an only child. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Rosie worked at Smith & Butterfield on Main Street as a photo printer. She then was self-employed as a retoucher. Rosie retired as vice-president from Steve Thompson Realty. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Catherine (Hoffman) Schneider. Rosie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald Hoffman, Sr.; sons, Ronald “Ron” Hoffman, Jr. (Cathy) of Evansville and Dr. James Steven Hoffman (Sherry) of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Katherine Rose “Kate” Schneider, Kristen Mary Schneider, Dr. Ronald Hoffman III (Dr. Laura Ken), Kyle Ashley Hoffman, Dr. Jason Hoffman, Trent Hoffman, and Tyler Hoffman; and cousin, Ed “Sonny Boy” Schaeffer (Joan). Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Fr. Paul Ferguson, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
