Jack W. Rainey

Jack W. Rainey, 83, of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was born in Evansville on June 9, 1940. He retired from the Evansville State Hospital in 2007 and also worked at Dyna Klean Janitorial Services for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling along with UFO documentaries. Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years Betty Rainey; sons, Jerry Rainey (Lisa) and David Rainey; daughter, Kay Tana (Doug); 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN. Visitation for friends will be held Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
