G. Gordon Miller

G. Gordon Miller, 94, of Evansville, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born July 13, 1921, in Van Wert County, OH., to the late Selmo J. and Selma (Kriescher) Miller. He was a sales manager for Birch Plow and traveled throughout Kentucky and Indiana selling machinery for Kewanee Farm Equipment. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lessing Lodge, Scottish Rite and Hadi Temple, and enjoyed fishing. G. Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Wherry) Miller. He is survived by daughters, Jone (Paul) Maier and Peggy Stallings; grandchildren, H. Paul (Jackie) Maier III, Jacob (Alicia) Maier, Emily (Brian) Stevens, Anne (Ryan) Scherer, Molly Maier, Betsy (Corey) Welp and Elizabeth Stallings; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Cameron and Madeline Maier, Alivia and Allena Maier, Corinne, Max and Maci Stevens, Colin, Laney and Lucy Scherer, and Meghan, Jack and Lauren Welp; and sister, Mary Clark of Indianapolis. Funeral Services were10:00 AM, Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Rev. Kevin Fleming, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park.
