David Barrett

David Barrett, 84, Evansville, IN passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019. He was born on September 17, 1934 to the late Isaac and Irene (Pekinpaugh) Barrett. David was the owner and operator of Barrett Appliances for over 40 years. He loved his race tracks and playing craps. David had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping people. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Charles Barrett and Rickie Barrett; brother, Elmer Barrett; and sister, Doris Shaw. David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Barrett; daughters, Lisa Linton and Lorrie West; sons, Mike Sweeney and Doug Sweeney (Chris); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel with burial at Alexander Memorial Park . Friends may visit 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
