Carl Billings

Carl Edward “Nubby” Billings, 71, of Corydon, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born on December 14, 1951 in Henderson, KY to Sherman and Dottie (Chaney) Billings. He served in the US Navy from 1973 to 1976. Carl worked for Whirlpool Corporation and as a self-employed taxidermist. He enjoyed hunting, taxidermy, playing guitar and pool, watching western movies and listening to classic country music. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary (Camp) Billings; parents; sisters, Arthella “Ellie” (Billings) Glick and Lucille “Sissy” Billings; and brother, William “Buddy” Billings. He is survived by his sons, John Billings (Shanna) and Vance Billings; step-daughter, Theresa (Fickling) Billings (Steve); step-son, David Fickling; grandchildren, Nicole (Billings) Zaluski (Eric), Steven Billings (Susan), Sheridan Billings, Autumn Billings; and great-grandchildren, Raylan and Emmeline Zaluski; brothers, Malcolm “Mack” Billings (Tonya), Frank “Franky” Billings (Tabith); half-brother, Louis Dean Billings.
