Sylvia loved being a wife, a mother to two beautiful daughters, a loving sister, a great neighbor, (you could catch her sunning on the back deck in the summer), a dog mom, and a basketball coach. Sylvia coached girls basketball (5th-8th grade) at Whiting, coached Hanover Jr. Wildcats girls, and coached girls basketball at Hanover Middle School. She truly loved to help anybody who needed help.
