Jeffery (Jeff) Neil Farrish, 56, of Charlottesville went home to be with his Lord on May 31, 2024. Jeff was born November 10, 1967, in Charlottesville, to the late Josephine Mae Keyton Farrish and Franklin Farrish. He is preceded in death by his grandparents David and Minnie Keyton, his mother, Josephine, and brothers Robert Keyton, twin brother Greg Farrish, and Tony Farrish, and aunts Betty Eppard and Margret Hill, and uncles Earl Keyton, Paul Keyton, and Dickie Keyton, and great niece Mikala Keyton, special family member Elijah Eppard, and longtime friend Patsy Marsh. He leaves behind a brother, Michael Farrish (Kay) of Scottsville, and a sister Sandra Shaver (Tommy) of Louisa. He also leaves behind an aunt Jean Reese (Larry) of Fluvanna and a sister-in-law Tammy Farrish (Greg) of Charlottesville. Additionally, Jeff leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Jennifer Ranney of Charlottesville, Jason Keyton of Roanoke, Sandra Melville of Zion Crossroads, Kimberly Shaver of Louisa, Thomas Shaver Jr (Audrey) of Louisa, Angela Willams (Nick) of Scottsville, Ashlea Kepka of Fluvanna, Emma and Kayleigh Farrish of Charlottesville, great nieces and nephews Monica Brittle of Fluvanna, Caleb Adams of Stanardsville, Zephyr and Noah Melville of Fluvanna, Ryan Birckhead of Chesterfield, Rhiannon Raymond, Hannah and Morgan Shaver of Fluvanna, Alora and Camden Williams of Scottsville, and Emilie Kepka of Fluvanna. Also, many cousins, extended family members, and longtime friend Maxine Enlow and family. Jeff was a custodian for the University of Virginia Academics for over twenty years and loved the people that he met throughout that chapter of his life. Prior to working with the University of Virginia, he would take care of his mother, Josephine, during her battle with cancer. Jeff had an enormous amount of love for his friends and family. He would make monthly calls to make sure everyone was doing okay and wanted to help anyone in need, and he made sure to see you laugh by singing, dancing, making jokes, and giving compliments. He loved animals and even had a rabbit and a frog outside his residence that he would feed and take care of. A memorial to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held at a later date.
