Charlotte Jeanette Gibson-Jones

Charlotte Jeanette Gibson-Jones, 61 years old, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on October 11, 2015. Charlotte was the daughter of Fannie and Thomas Gibson Senior, both deceased. She will be greatly missed by her husband, James H. Jones; her four children, Bobby Morton, Fannie Richards and her husband Thomas, Justin Gibson, and Natasha Gibson; the grandchildren she adored: Nathan, Jaleel, Trajon, Akayla, Thomas, Nico, Jamonnie, Josiah, Jamond, Alexander, Janiya, Nadiya, and Azia; one sister, Teresa Gibson; a special friend who was a second sister, Connie Scott Rosenbaum; also several well-loved nieces and nephews. Charlotte will be missed by her church family, her TOPS family, her Home League, her work family at the Salvation Army, and the people Charlotte quietly helped, never expecting any praise or rewards. A family night will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville from 6-8 PM. A memorial service will be conducted 2 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ivy. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.teaguefuneralhome.com.
