Carolyn Faye Jarman

Carolyn Faye Jarman, 75, of Ruckersville, passed away on February 21, 2018. Carolyn was born on April 21, 1942, in Charlottesville, VA, to the late Samuel Jones and Louise Woods Jarman. She worked at Sperry Marine for over 20 years and was involved in many social activities during her time there. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Richard Scott (Scotty) Shifflett, and her brothers James Edward Jarman II and Frank Woods Jarman. Carolyn is survived by her sons Michael and Steven Shifflett, and her Daughter Terri Crickenburger, her eight Grandchildren: David Hume, Rick, and Amanda Shifflett, Steven and Sarah Shifflett, and Ryan, Jaden and Teaugean Crickenburger. She also leaves behind five Great Grandchildren: Abigail Shifflett, Caitlyn and Spencer Hume, and Steven and Christopher Shifflett. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at 3:00 pm, at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at Teague Funeral Service in Charlottesville.
