Tracy Life Roberts, 64, of Carmel, Indiana, departed this life at her home on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Tracy was born on February 27, 1960 in Indianapolis to the late Robert Lavon & Dorthea Jean (Leaird) Life. She grew up and attended schools in Indianapolis and then earned her Bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Purdue University. Tracy worked most of her life as a Registered Dietician, most recently as a manager for a dialysis healthcare organization. She had also served as a regional Vice President of senior living centers. Tracy loved working with her hands and was a master of crochet and thoughtfully crafted many items for those she loved. She also loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and cooking and baking for family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill on trips to Maine, Amish Country in Lancaster, PA, Shipshewana and Door County to name a few. Tracy was a kind and gentle soul who always put the needs of others first. She loved her children and tight-knit family above all else and cherished being a Nana more than anything in this world. She rarely passed on a cup of hot tea, a Broadway Musical or a trip to go shopping. In addition to her parents, Tracy was preceded in death by her dear sister, Sue Huston and sister-in-law, Elaine Life. Tracy is survived by her loving husband, William Edward “Bill” Roberts, her devoted children, Whitney (Ashe) Abebe and Morgan (Ellie) Turner; grateful grandchildren, Dylan & Josie Turner and Theo & Zuri Abebe; beloved siblings, Ben Life, Pam (Bill) Wurster and Doug (Nancee) Life; several dear nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and her BFF of 52 years, Kandie (John) Dinger as well as a host of dear colleagues and friends. A celebration of life for Tracy will be from 1- 4 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Woodland Country Club of Carmel, 100 Woodland Lane | Carmel, Indiana 46032. Private inurnment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Prince of Peace Mausoleum.
