Opal Dale Baker

Dale Baker, 76, of Springville, IN., died at his residence June 25, 2011. Born June 17, 1935 in Martin County, IN. he was the son of the late Odus and Ruth (Rainey) Baker. Dale was employed at Wetterau where he was a truck driver. Dale was devoted to his family and friends and especially to his wife, Opal Virginia Baker who died in 1997, he was a member of Cushman Scooter Club and the Teamsters Union. Survivors include 1 son, Rita Schuber ; 1 son, Patrick Bailey both of Bloomington; 2 grandchildren, Travis Mills and Shawn Ogle; several great- grandchildren and nephews and nieces: Family by marriage, Bud Doyle of Columbus, IN., Raymond (Pat) Doyle and Susie (Jim) Fulford, both of Bloomington. In addition to the parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jim Doyle and David Doyle. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Day Funeral with speakers, Raymond Doyle and David Doyle officiating.
