Monte Amundsen Tozzi

TOZZI, Monte Amundsen, 81, passed away on December 24, 2011 in Tampa, FL. Monte was a professional singer who worked on numerous Broadway productions including the original recording of “Juno” with Shirley Booth and in the film version of “The King and I”. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Metropolitan Opera star Giorgio Tozzi. Monte is survived by her two children, Jennifer Hauser (Dane) and Eric Tozzi (Nina); three grandchildren as well as her brother Alan Amundsen. Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Saturday December 31, 2011 at Clear Creak Cemetery in Clear Creek, IN.
