Larry D. Bateman

Lawrence "Larry" Bateman, age 86, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Lawrence was born March 26, 1935 to the late Carl and Mabel Bateman. Larry spent the majority of his life on the Southside of Indianapolis where he resided with his family. He was married to the love of his life, Carol Bateman for over 66 years. He was an avid bowler in his younger days and a member of Teamsters Local 135. Larry loved to spend time with his family and travel out west. He enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions, yard sales and fishing. Larry is survived by his loving wife; Carol (Agnew) Bateman, children; Cathy Barton, Mark (Mimi) Bateman and Karen (John) Beaman, grandchildren; Stephanie (Jason) Kohlmann, Katie (Louis) Locander, Sarah (Joseph) Malone, Erin Bateman, Nick Beaman and Calvin (Mary) Beaman, along with great-grandchildren; Zander, Andrew, Connor, Vanna, Ellie Mae, Tucker and Lilly Ann. Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Funeral Services will be immediately following at 12:00pm.
