Charles W Mills Jr.

Mr. Charles W. Mills Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away April 24, 2023 at the age of 90. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 12, 1932. Mr. Mills attended Lipscomb University, served in the Army and was in management. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome and being with his camping travel group. He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Webb, Nancy Esmon, Deborah Raiford; son, Charles S. Mills; step-son, Dan Rice; step-daughter, Tollie Rice; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Wilson, Dolly Zorick and Charlotte Norris, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Bernadette Mills; parents, Charles and Georgia Mills; brother-in-law, Johnny Wilson; and son-in-law, Ray Webb. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 12:30pm until service time of 2:00pm.
