Timothy Theron Manns

Timothy T. Manns, age 63 transitioned on July 25,2024. He was born on October 3,1960 in Ferrum, Va to the late Bobby Claytor, and Sandra M. Claytor. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brisha K. Manns. He was educated in the Franklin County Public School Systems. He was retired and was also a member of the U.S. National Guard for 22 years from which he retired. He was a member of Gethsemane Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a member of the male chorus, known in the community as the (singing man). Tim was united in marriage to the Love of his life Dale Young Manns for 38 years. To this union they were blessed with four children, Two sons, Theron (Shonna) Chris ( Christina), Two daughters, Keeyah (Deon), Brisha and eleven grandchildren In addition to his wife and children he leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sandra M. Claytor (Mitch) siblings, Jenaise, Virginia, Collisa, Loleader, Maria (William), Cynthia (Simeon) Brenda (James), Sharon (Alvin), Vernika (Michael) Jerome, Jerrod (Kitty), Rickey, Tawarn, Eric, Lewis(Rob) Michael (Carolyn), also a special sister- in- law, Norma (Ronnie) Tim was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents and four siblings. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Church, 980 Carver Rd Martinsville, Va 24112 with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens Carver Rd, Martinsville Va with Military Honors to be performed by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Honor Guard.
